We collect personal information from you, including your name, physical address, contact information, site information including access details, and billing or purchase information.

We collect your personal information in order to facilitate scheduling and management of inspections and site visits, and to communicate with you about all aspects of your experience with us. This allows us to provide better services, maintain the quality of our services, and helps us improve and incorporate new services for the future.

We may also use any information you have provided as reasonably necessary to provide client support to you.

Online payments

When you buy a service on our website, payment is handled by Stripe. Your card details go directly to Stripe and are never seen or stored by us. Stripe passes us your name, email address, phone number, the address of the property, and what you bought, so we can book the inspection.

Cookies and website tracking

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies. They record how people find our site and how they use it, so we can see what works, fix what does not, and measure our advertising.

These are the tools we run, and what each one does:

• Google Analytics. Counts visits and pages viewed, and records how people arrived at the site.
• Google Ads. Measures which of our ads lead to an enquiry, and allows us to show our ads to people who have already visited the site.
• Google Maps. Suggests addresses as you type into our enquiry forms. Google sets cookies when the address lookup loads.

When you send us an enquiry, our form also records how you arrived at our site (for example a Google search, an ad, or a link) and the page you landed on. Your browser keeps this for 90 days so the enquiry is credited to the right source.

Some of these tools are run by companies based overseas, so the information they collect is held outside New Zealand.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Our site will still work if you do.

Your rights
