High Risk Mains Work - Electrical Inspection

Including ROI certification compiling and High Risk Database (Energy Safety) submission

Applies for mains work only.


METERS

eCertify are not MEPS (metering equipment providers)

We do not install new meters, relocate existing meters or re-seal meters.

Metering work must be carried out by a network approved inspector

PRE-INSPECTION NOTES FOR THE ELECTRICIAN

Pre-Inspection, please ensure

  • Main earthing conductor is identified at the DB end of main earth conductor (tag or label)

  • Main earth electrode location listed on switchboard

  • Correctly clamped (not loose) main earth electrode with tag

  • Tested main earth continuity (must be less than 0.5ohm)

  • Tested mains polarity with independent earth

  • Tested earth fault loop impedance

  • Earth electrode is located and accessible

  • Fully enclosed meterboard switch (if applicable)

  • ESC/COC on site and ready.

 

IMPORTANT

Please be aware that re-inspection charges will apply if items are missed and we need to return to site.
Also additional time may be charged if we need to wait while issues are rectified at the time of inspection.
