Eliminate roadblocks in the sale and purchase process and give prospective buyers peace of mind about the safety of their new home.

For new home purchases, many insurance firms will now require electrical certification prior to issuing cover.

This can cause major problems, as finance is typically dependant on insurance cover being in place.

Having no certification can:

- Hold up the sale and purchase process
- Prevent prospective purchasers from making an offer
- Cause sale and purchase agreements to fall through
- Restrict the pool of prospective buyers at auction, resulting in lower sale prices.

DETAILS

Verification of the electrical system using basic visual inspection and limited testing.

Our fully registered and qualified inspectors & electricians thoroughly inspect all parts of your electrical installation.

OUTCOMES

- If we find that your installation is safe and up-to-code, we can issue a Certificate of Verification (Energy Works Certificate) on the day
(this document certifies that your installation is electrically safe. It is needed for both insurance and building code compliance purposes)

- If we find indications that the electrical work has not been installed correctly - or has degraded to an unsafe state due to age - we then build a report of remedial work required before certification can be issued.

REMEDIAL WORK

Small issues can be resolved on-site, allowing us to certify on the day.
Note: additional costs may apply for repairs, our technicians will let you know the costs on-site

Larger issues will be assessed and we'll provide quotes for remedial work required.

Once the remedial work has been completed, we issue certification for the work we've done AND a certificate of verification for the entire installation.
Note: If another electrical firm carries out the repairs, we’ll need to sight their electrical certification for the work completed, prior to issuing certification for the full home
if too much time has elapsed between our site visit and the remedial work, another full verification may be required - this is case depndant

At all times we'll keep you informed of any additional cost BEFORE carrying out the work
